Mark is a modern-day renaissance man whose multidisciplinary expertise spans mechatronics, visualisation, education—and his enduring passion, interior design. A natural self-starter, he has founded and built ventures such as Ocular Production and MDS (interior design & build).

Ocular Production is a specialised visualisation studio, producing high-end 3D renderings and walkthrough animations for interior and architectural projects. Over more than a decade, Mark worked closely with internationally acclaimed designers, architects, and developers, significantly broadening his global perspective and sharpening his design sensibility. His portfolio includes landmark projects such as Dubai Mall, InterContinental Nanjing, Pearl Continental Lahore, Sheraton Perth, Conrad Koh Samui, the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix 2008, JW Marriott New Delhi, DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta, Radisson Blu Hotel, The Westin Turtle Bay Mauritius, and The Ritz-Carlton Cleveland.

As Design Director of MDS, Mark has led projects across some of Singapore’s most prestigious addresses, including New Futura, Tomlinson Heights, Ardmore Park, Ardmore 3, Gramercy Park, Marina Bay Suites, Reflections at Keppel Bay, and numerous Good Class Bungalows.

At the core of his work is his design philosophy – AFB (A Fine Balance). Mark believes that good design is never just about how it looks, but how it works and how it is realised. Every project is guided by a careful balance between Aesthetics, Functionality, and Buildability, ensuring that each space is not only beautiful, but purposeful and executable.

Today, Mark is widely regarded as one of Singapore’s most sought-after designers in the luxury segment, known for creating spaces that are both refined and deeply considered.
